Samsung M5650 Lindy official announce

At last Samsung officially announced its new mobile phone. Samsung M5650 is also known as Samsung Lindy. It is heir of popular Samsung S3650 Corby. This mobile device is designed for music and social networks lovers. As for technical characteristics Samsung Lindy has 2.8 inch screen touch screen with 240x320 px resolution, 3 Mp camera, 50 Mb built-in storage, microSD memory card slot (up to 8 Gb), Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, FM radio with RDS and 3.5 mm audio jack. Supported network standards are SM 850/900/1800/1900 MHZ, HSDPA 900/2100 MHz. Samsung M5650 Lindy will become available in Europe in next few weeks and will cost about EUR150.

Android 2.0.1 Update for Motorola DROID

Google is actively improving its operating system for mobile devices. Android 2.0.1 is already available for Motorola DROID. Updated OS has some substantial improvements and bug fixes. Besides it is more stable and has better performance. Here are the list of the most important issues - extended battery life, better autofocusing functionality, improved audio for incoming calls, enhancements for three-way calling, improved Bluetooth functionality (background echo is eliminated), updated corporate calendar widget, improved SMS and MMS functionality (now SMS and MMS may be sent to 7-digit addresses). Android 2.0.1 update can be downloaded from official Verizon’s site.
